The value for money at Gilligan's Hotel & Resort was excellent. The room was comfortable, clean, and provided everything I needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the activities and attractions in the area. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay.

The only area for improvement would be the breakfast items.

I gotta say, the value for money at Gilligan's was on point. I felt like I got a lot for what I paid. The room was super clean and the shower had a fancy touch to it. Plus, the location was bang on. Right in the heart of the CBD, with the shopping center and esplanade just a short walk away. And the staff? They were so lovely and helpful, especially Matilda. Great service, no complaints there.

The breakfast offerings could use some improvement. Maybe adding some more variety would be nice.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. We loved having a balcony to enjoy some fresh air, and it was also great for the smokers in our group. The shower had a fancy touch to it, which was a nice surprise. We were also impressed with the ample number of electrical sockets, even though they were all located at one end of the room. The location of the hotel was superb, right in the heart of the city center. We could easily walk to the shops and the beautiful Esplanade area. It was also a great spot for party-goers, with a lively sports bar and live music every night. Plus, the hotel offered fantastic deals on reef activities and sky-diving.

The room was massive and the bed was really comfortable. I really liked how the shower, sink, and toilet were separate, so you didn't have to wait for the bathroom. The staff were really helpful and available 24/7. The location of the hotel was also great, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities.

There were a few drawbacks during my stay. The air conditioning in the room was extremely cold, and we had no control over it.

I had a wonderful time at Gilligan's! The location was perfect, close to Rusty's Market and with easy access to everything I needed. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a private balcony. The facilities were great, especially the pool area and the little workout room. The atmosphere was very social, perfect for those who enjoy meeting new people and having a good time. The entertainment in the evenings was fun, with cheap drinks for hostel guests. The staff were helpful and accommodating, and the travel agent out front offered great deals for sightseeing. I highly recommend staying at Gilligan's for a fun and enjoyable experience.

The hostel is conveniently located near Cairns Central, the Reef Terminal, and the Central bus stop. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores in the area. The bar & restaurant and pool are great and offer a nice place to relax and enjoy lunch or drinks with friends. The private room decoration is attractive, although there was a slight issue with a humidity smell.

We absolutely loved this place! the location was perfect with everything we needed close by such as supermarkets, restaurants, and bars. Secondly, the service was exceptional with friendly staff that were always happy to help. Lastly, the room was great with ironing facilities, air conditioning, and free wi-fi.

Our recent stay at Gilligan's Hotel & Resort was fantastic. The central location allowed us to easily explore the area and access nearby attractions. The communal lounge areas on each floor were spacious and filled with comfortable sofas and chairs, perfect for relaxing and meeting other travelers. we had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We loved the location of the hotel, as it was conveniently close to other hostels and stores. The rooms were clean and spacious, providing us with a comfortable stay. The kitchen and hangout space were also great additions, allowing us to socialize and cook our own meals.

Great place to meet people and have a good time. The hostel has a vibrant party atmosphere with a bar and club downstairs, as well as daily activities and competitions. The DJ by the pool during the day adds to the fun. The rooms were surprisingly clean and had their own spacious balconies. The location of the hostel was convenient for exploring the city and participating in various activities.

Some staff members could have been friendlier and more helpful, although there were a few exceptions. The breakfast timing was a bit early for some guests and resulted in fewer people attending.

Central location, spacious room, pool, helpful staff, great travel agent with deals, lovely cafes nearby.
