This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The location was super, right in the heart of the city, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and beautiful walking trails. The facilities were top-notch, including free Wi-Fi, a shared kitchen with everything you need, a cozy lounge area, and even a picnic area with tables. The rooms were clean and beautifully furnished, with a glimpse of a stunning bridge. The staff was fabulous, making us feel so welcome and ensuring we had a fantastic stay. I can't wait to come back and stay again!

The house and garden were so cozy and homey, it felt like a real haven. The kitchen had everything I needed, and the host and his adorable dogs were fantastic. The beds were super comfy and the curtains gave just the right amount of privacy. The communal spaces were filled with interesting furniture and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I loved that there were little extras like shampoo and chocolate available for purchase. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the market, and the views from some of the rooms were breathtaking. this place exceeded all my expectations and didn't feel like your typical hostel at all.

Montacute is a budget-friendly gem with comfy beds, warm doonas, and clean rooms. The spacious bathrooms on level 2 are a welcome surprise. The hostel has a peaceful atmosphere and a well-equipped kitchen. The attention to cleanliness is impeccable, making for a memorable stay.

wow! montacute nailed it! most comfortable mattress i've ever slept on in a hostel. loved the attention to detail with the interior design and the cozy balconies. the location was perfect too, my favorite neighborhood in hobart. felt like a home away from home.

No surfaces in the bedroom for clothes and toiletries.

We had a fantastic stay at Montacute Boutique Bunkhouse. the staff were lovely, showing us around the place and making us feel welcome. the 8-bed female room was comfortable and clean, and the Wi-Fi connection was great. the location was perfect, just a short walk to Salamanca and the city center. the hostel had a cozy and homely atmosphere, with beautiful roses in the front yard and a warm interior design. We enjoyed practicing yoga with a view of Mount Wellington and made inspiring friendships with fellow travelers. Anthony, the owner, was great to chat with, and his dogs were super cute. Highly recommend Montacute - it truly felt like a home away from home.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, from the shiny white sheets to the bathrooms. The hotel facilities were fantastic - there were two bathrooms with toilets and plenty of single baths and toilets. We loved the huge garden and the lovely big balcony where we could relax. The kitchen was great too, with a big fridge that had clear doors, making it easy to see what was available. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel like we were staying with friends. The location was perfect, within walking distance of trendy markets, restaurants, and convenience stores. this hotel exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it.
