An added bonus of free Wi-Fi and a lovely café on site. The vintage design adds a nice touch of character and uniqueness to the hotel. The option to use the common laundry facility for a small fee is also helpful.

There were a few noise issues in the room - could hear some hallway noise clearly and walls could be a bit thicker. The room service was lacking - had to request a new teaspoon and there was a time when the bed wasn't made even after a cleaning service was provided.

This hotel is a little oasis in a sea of backpackers in this part of Sydney. The location is good, very close to the train station which made it very convenient to get anywhere with public transport or to stroll around. The staff were friendly and the service was fantastic. The basic amenities were all there and the rooms were a decent size. The breakfast at the cafe downstairs was also lovely and friendly.
