I recently stayed at this charming mountain-carved hotel for a few days. The exposed stone walls added to its unique charm. There were plenty of outdoor seating areas to enjoy my morning coffee while taking in the beautiful panoramic view of the hilltop. The well-equipped room had everything I needed and the owners, Erin and Mick, were incredibly helpful and informative about the local area. The entire place was spotless and well organized, making it one of the best places I've stayed in anywhere in the world.

Had a great Easter getaway! Loved the unique experience of staying underground. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shared kitchen was spotless. the staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early. the location was perfect, with stunning sunset views and a peaceful atmosphere. It was a great base for exploring the area.

The only downside was the lack of information provided by the receptionist about the local area. It would have been helpful to have more information about the attractions and activities in the area.

Wow! What an amazing experience staying in this unique underground hotel! the rooms, carved out of the rock, were so cool and stayed at a comfortable temperature even when it was scorching outside. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and my kids had a blast exploring the hotel and discovering the remnants of the opal mine. I also loved the fact that they offered discounts for nearby attractions and restaurants, making it even more convenient for us to explore the area.

One minor drawback was that the room we initially got was a bit cramped, with not enough space to walk around the bed comfortably. However, the owners were quick to rectify the situation and gave us a better room, showing excellent hospitality.

Nothing that I didn't like.

I had a fantastic stay at this underground motel. The view from the verandah was absolutely amazing, and I loved sitting outside and taking it all in. The couple running the motel were incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome. The motel had a kitchen that I could use for meals, which was great as I have allergies and it's not always easy to eat out. The cleanliness of the place was impressive, everything was clean and tidy. The location was also a highlight, as it was close to the shops and just off the main street.

The breakfast included in the room rate was a nice touch and gave a good start to the day. the quiet location on the edge of the town was a relief from the hustle-bustle. the rooms with separate parking offer extra privacy that's helpful.

The cramped bedroom setup with the bed against the wall was not very comfortable, and the dim lighting did not help either.

The rooms were cozy with a double bed squeezed in, and the view of the sunset from my window was breathtaking.

Unexpectedly Pleasant

During my recent stay at a unique and charming underground accommodation, I was pleasantly surprised by the modern amenities provided in the room. From ceiling fans and a clean, modern bathroom to hot showers and comfortable furniture for reading and writing, everything exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, especially Room 5 compared to Room 4, which was a bonus.

We had a fantastic stay at this unique underground motel. The room was quite large and had a lovely little porch with a great view. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a TV, microwave, bar fridge, toaster. The helpful and friendly staff quickly organized a BBQ for us. The location was fabulous, offering an amazing view and a welcoming outdoor seating area. We also appreciated the clean and tidy environment. It was a great experience, and we will definitely be returning.

The room provided clean and comfortable beds. We also appreciated the communal kitchen, which had a large fridge for storage and a microwave for cooking. the owners were friendly and allowed us to extend our check out time, which was a great convenience.

The room lacked furniture such as bedside tables and the towels provided were rough. Additionally, there was limited utensils in the communal kitchen and it closed for two hours during the day.

This hotel is such a unique experience, offering underground living in a cave-like setting on the edge of town.
