We loved the cleanliness of the hotel, with spotless rooms and common areas. The hotel facilities were great, especially the big lockers that provided ample storage space for our belongings. The location was perfect, close to the metro station and within walking distance of the beautiful Ipanema beach. Furthermore, being in a safe area, we felt comfortable exploring the neighborhood and trying out the delicious restaurants nearby.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The staff were friendly and helpful, providing information and assistance whenever needed. the location was excellent, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. there was a great social atmosphere that made it easy to meet and connect with fellow travelers.

The rooms were cramped and could get quite warm, making it difficult to sleep. the noise levels were high, making it challenging to get a good night's rest.

I stayed at El Misti Hostel Ipanema for several trips in Rio, and it exceeded my expectations. Compared to other hostels in the city, El Misti is remarkably clean, bug-free, and quiet. The staff is amazing, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The location is perfect, with easy access to the beach, metro, and buses. They even returned my lost travel pillow! Plus, the bartender is fantastic, remembering your drink preferences. Highly recommend!

Totally recommend this hotel.

This hostel is wonderfully close to the beach, only a block away. You can easily spend your days soaking up the sun and enjoying the waves. The location is also surrounded by many restaurants, so you'll never go hungry. Everywhere in the neighborhood, you'll find plenty of options for dining and exploring.

The noise levels at night can be a bit bothersome when people come back to the hostel, but the rooms are designed in a way to minimize the disturbance.
