Staff is friendly and laid-back. Historic mansion with modern additions. Popular with Queen's executive program but also functions as a hotel.

The historic building and antique pieces in the sitting area added to its charm. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was exceptional with a nice variety of options, including a vegetarian option. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a great sleep with the help of the pillows. The location of the hotel is close to everything, including the university. Lastly, there were comfortable sitting areas that were perfect for reading.

my recent stay in kingston was amazing, but the overnight stay at this hotel surpassed all expectations. the staff was polite and helpful, the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, and the hot breakfast was a pleasant surprise. the overall presentation of the property and the peaceful atmosphere made it a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. wish I could have stayed longer!

We were visiting our daughter at West Campus and the location was perfect for us. It gave us a true neighborhood experience, with a sweeping driveway and ample parking. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were extremely clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations with a wide variety of delicious hot and cold options. We also made use of the fully stocked gym. We would definitely come back here again!

We also enjoyed the peaceful environment, which provided us with a good night's sleep.

The only issue we had during our stay was that the staff seemed a bit off-hand at times. However, it didn't affect our overall experience, and we still had a great time.
