I recently stayed at the Marriott in downtown Montreal for a business trip. The hotel was conveniently located with easy access to the Bonaventure Metro and shopping on rue Ste. Catherine. Despite being an older building, it was well maintained and comfortable. The hotel had a great bar with delicious food, and the room service was exceptional. The concierge services and reception staff were helpful, and the room size was perfect. The lounge area provided a great seating area for work. it was a nice above average hotel with good value for money.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, with easy access to the city center and close proximity to public transportation. The views of the surrounding area, including the nearby cathedral, were absolutely stunning. the hotel offered clean and comfortable rooms, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The decor of the hotel felt outdated and reminiscent of the 80s, which was a bit disappointing. The lack of privacy in the bathroom due to a sliding door with a large gap was also a drawback.

The best aspects of our weekend stay were the amazing location and the helpfulness of the staff. The hotel was in a perfect spot for sightseeing, with easy access to Old Montreal and other attractions. The staff, especially Glennon and Nathalia at the front desk, were extremely friendly and welcoming. They provided great recommendations for local restaurants and tours. Another advantage we enjoyed was the delicious breakfast buffet, with a wide selection of options to start our day off right.

The only downside was the lack of a small refrigerator in the room, which would have been convenient. Additionally, the hair dryer provided was low power and very small.

The Marriott Chateau Champlain in Montreal provided a seamless check-in experience. We had pre-checked in through the Marriott app, which made the process quick and efficient. The room on the 15th floor had a stunning view of the city. The hotel's connection to the metro was a lifesaver when the weather turned, allowing us to reach our destination without getting wet. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, and the bartenders at the bar remembered our drink preferences. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience and quality.

The mini bar and closet unit by the shower room gave privacy space for changing and organizing. Fridge and complimentary coffee-tea-cream-bottles of water, security box, ironing set, rope and slippers were provided. The rain shower was the best I ever had. The bed was heavenly comfortable. The view from 26 and 27 floors had stunning city and lake view. The staffs were friendly, polite and very helpful.

I had an Excellent Stay at the Montreal Marriott! The newly renovated room was perfect, with a refrigerator and safe. The Concierge Lounge access made breakfast fast and easy. The hotel staff were extremely accommodating and the location was convenient for the Grand Prix weekend. I can't wait to book again next year. I highly recommend this hotel.
