I had such a great time at Marco Polo! My stay was extended twice because I loved it so much. The location next to the lake is outstanding, and there are plenty of amazing restaurants within walking distance. The club lounge is excellent and the breakfast is outstanding. The free WiFi is also a bonus.

The service provided by Zoey was exceptional, ensuring a top-notch experience throughout the stay. The rooms are well-equipped with comfortable beds, slippers, and bathrobes. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast with a buffet and a menu to order from. The continental lounge on the 8th floor offers a relaxing atmosphere and a wide selection of drinks and finger food.

There were construction noise and tarpaulin present in the surrounding area, making it somewhat unpleasant.

As a business traveler, I loved the executive lounge access and the spacious, comfortable rooms. The location was fantastic, with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. It was also convenient to have the ferry terminal for Gulangyu Island nearby. The hotel's proximity to the lake made it perfect for a short walk or jog. The staff was phenomenal and super friendly, providing excellent service from the front desk to the concierge. The hotel's pool, concierge service, and the bars and restaurants behind the hotel were additional highlights.

I had an amazing stay at a luxury hotel that offered great value for the price. The lakeside view room was beautifully appointed and overlooked a lovely pool. The hotel provided a choice of pillows, a Western meal menu, and an abundance of free toiletries and slippers. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they even had a free bar. I also appreciated their quick response to my emails. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful and luxurious stay.

The hotel is located in a beautiful green area surrounded by lakes, which creates a relaxing environment for a city break. I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a room on the club floor, which allowed me to enjoy complimentary meals throughout the day at the dining room. the staff, especially Alice at the front desk and Mr Wong at the concierge, were very helpful and welcoming.

I found the pool policy to be a bit confusing and inconsistent, as on the first day it was okay to sit by the pool without a swim cap, but on the second day I was forced to buy one even though I just wanted to sit by the pool. the external painting and rendering could have been better, as there were some noticeable imperfections in the finish.

While my overall experience was fantastic, my non-smoking room had a slight cigarette smoke smell when I returned one night. However, the issue was promptly addressed by the duty manager, who changed my room.

I recently stayed at Marco Polo in Xiamen for a week-long vacation. The facilities and location were excellent, and the staff were generally helpful and pleasant. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with a great shower. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic mix of Chinese and Western food. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The concierge was particularly helpful in providing information and recommendations. The presence of a house doctor was also a great advantage in case of any health issues.

Upgraded to 8th floor room with lake view. Excellent location near coffee street, restaurants, parks, and ferry port. Enjoyed outdoor pool and fitness area for morning yoga. Comfy bed and facilities worth the price.

The mattress at the hotel was really comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the location of the hotel was great, offering easy access to key attractions and amenities in the city. the hotel also provided a variety of pillows to choose from, catering to different preferences.

There were a couple of negative aspects during my stay. the air conditioning in the room was very noisy, making it difficult to sleep at night.
