The location next to the lake is outstanding, with amazing trees in the park. The hotel gym is well-equipped. The room was clean, comfortable, and everything worked. The staff spoke English well and even left a bowl of fruit every day. We enjoyed the book "The Lost Horizon" about Shangri-La.

The property is clean and well-maintained. The breakfast, while catering to Chinese standards, is quite good from a Western perspective. a great place to stay for those wanting to be close to the lake.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, with some small restaurants just opposite the Su bridge and Bai Bridge. It's really close to the West Lake, which makes for a beautiful view. The rooms are clean and tidy, with well-prepared bathrooms and amenities. The service is excellent, with helpful staff like Jan Fan who can handle customer's anger well. The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious food choices. The guest service manager, Jan Fan, is one of the best managers I've encountered.

The transportation to and from the hotel could be improved.
