The hotel is located in Yalong bay which was nice and had a beautiful beach. The room was spacious and comfortable with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. The staff provided excellent service, always going above and beyond to help. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food choices and the facilities, such as the children's play area and water slides, were great for families.

The air conditioning system didn't function well throughout the hotel.

A Relaxing Oasis

We returned to Sofitel for our latest vacation and once again, it was an incredible experience. The hotel is a tranquil oasis, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The heated swimming pool was a great addition, offering comfort even in the cooler December weather. The ocean was also surprisingly warm, making our beach time even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and clean, with beautiful ocean views. We particularly loved the breakfast and buffet options, with a wide variety of delicious dishes. Our vacation with our two young kids was made even better by the many kid-friendly swimming pools and quiet corners to relax in. we highly recommend Sofitel Sanya Leeman Resort for a fantastic holiday experience.

We had an amazing stay at this luxurious 5-star hotel. The exclusive amenities fulfilled all our needs. The infinity pool and the beautiful garden area with beach umbrellas were fantastic. The spa centre and sauna were relaxing, and we enjoyed the full body massage, beauty treatment, and facial. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious, and the bar/lounge area was perfect for unwinding after a long day. This hotel's location advantages made it accessible to the long and clean beach, only 20 minutes from the airport.

Although the service was outstanding, there was a minor issue with the room service order a couple of times. We either received the wrong meal or a few items missing.

Spending my Xmas break at a beach resort with a stunning view and amazing food was a dream come true. The location was perfect as it was easily accessible and close to tourist attractions. I really enjoyed the multiple swimming pools and the variety of cuisines offered at the restaurants.

The service was not up to par as my room was not cleaned properly and I had to request multiple times for basic amenities. The overall organization of the breakfast was poor and the waiters didn’t seem to be very attentive.
