Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

A hidden gem nestled in the mountains, Masaya Casas Viejas is a paradise of relaxation and breathtaking views. From the cozy rooms to the outstanding common areas, this place exudes charm and tranquility. The homemade meals and local beers on tap are a delightful addition to the experience. The daily yoga classes and organized hikes offer plenty of activities for guests. Masaya Casas Viejas is a tremendous value and a must-visit destination.

Despite the minor inconvenience of a bumpy road and limited transportation options, the journey to Masaya Casas Viejas is part of its charm. The showers may have a slight temperature fluctuation, but it's a minor issue that doesn't overshadow the wonderful experience.

We had an incredible stay at the hotel! The view from the pool was stunning, especially during sunset. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. We also enjoyed the yoga class in the morning and the group hikes organized by the hotel. The food here was delicious, and we loved the communal dinners with other guests. The filtered water stations throughout the hotel were a great touch and helped reduce plastic waste.

The view from our private room was incredible, with a comfortable bed and a terrace featuring a private hammock. The hotel facilities were great, with a bar offering cocktails, beer, and soft drinks, as well as free drinking water. The staff were friendly and multilingual, organizing activities like a waterfall hike and morning yoga. The food served by the professional staff was of excellent quality, with large serving sizes. The hotel's location on a farm provided a beautiful setting, and the sunset view was amazing.

I recently spent two nights at Casas Viejas, a hidden gem nestled in the mountains. Run by a caring French family, they truly go above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere. The location, a former coffee plantation, adds to the charm. The facilities are great, beds are comfortable, and the private balcony offers stunning mountain views. The staff, including Andres, Beth, and Angela, were exceptional. Special shoutout to Mona the cat and Mona the dog for their company during hikes. Fresh beer and coffee from the on-site brewery and farm were a delightful bonus.

What a fantastic Easter getaway! the location was absolutely stunning, nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountains with breathtaking views. the warm pool was a definite highlight, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the incredible scenery. the friendly and attentive staff made us feel like family, going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We were also impressed by the delicious meals cooked by the professional staff, a real treat for our taste buds.

The transportation. Getting to the hotel was a bit challenging, with a bumpy ride on a motor taxi or an expensive jeep.

The staff at this place is incredible, offering top-notch customer service throughout my entire stay. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. the food at the hotel was also a highlight, with delicious meals served from breakfast to dinner. And let's not forget about the amazing hiking activities they offer for nature lovers like me. the trails were well-marked and allowed me to experience the beauty of the surrounding area.

One downside I experienced was the lack of options for water. Coming from a previous hostel where I had a bad experience with filtered water, I didn't feel comfortable relying on the hostel's filtered water.

The value for money at this beautiful jungle hostel was excellent, with comfortable and clean rooms. The location was stunning, giving us a great view of the rainforest and easy access to the coffee farm. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The lack of WiFi allowed us to disconnect and fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of the area. Masaya Casas Viejas is by far the best place to stay in Minca.

I had a wonderful stay at a cleverly designed, well-run, environmentally friendly establishment. Masaya Casas Viejas in Minca offers a unique experience, especially for wildlife enthusiasts. the birding guide in the morning was brilliant, and the location overlooking the lush valley was unrivaled. the rooms were well-equipped and the showers hot. the guided walk to the waterfall was fantastic, and there was a buzzing backpacker vibe throughout. the food was good, with plenty of options to choose from.

The staff at Masaya Casas Viejas were always there to assist and the food served for dinner created a vibrant and friendly atmosphere among the guests. The location on the Victoria coffee farm added to the charm and provided a great starting point for our day trips. Despite some minor inconveniences like the noise near the standard rooms and the distance from the town, we highly recommend this hotel. our experience was exceptional and we can't wait to return.
