The location is absolutely stunning, especially when the boats leave for the day and the island becomes peaceful and serene. the staff were always friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. the food, although basic, was well-suited for the climate and surroundings, with the local lobster being a highlight. the rooms were amazing, with suites that allowed me to walk right into the water from my balcony. this is a dream destination for anyone seeking peace, quiet, and total relaxation.

Out of all the places we stayed, this rustic and comfortable hotel on the tiny island of Isla Grande stood out as the best by far.

Our first time visiting the Colombian coast was a beautiful experience at Isla Del Pirata. the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, upgrading us to a better bungalow with a spectacular view. the food was delicious, and we had the opportunity to try paddle boarding and even went kayaking in the evening to see bioluminescent plankton.

We had an incredible stay at Isla del pirata. the suites we stayed in were right on the water, allowing us to walk into the sea from our balcony. the staff were amazing, offering fresh lobster and taking us snorkeling. the cooks were warm and accommodating, especially for our vegetarian diets. the views of the sea were breathtaking, and the option to pay for excursions to other islands was a plus. the property was quiet and peaceful most of the time, making it perfect for relaxation. it was a dream island and highly recommended.
