My partner and I stayed at Encantada for a relaxing beach getaway. We loved the proximity to the beach and the opportunity to take long walks by the ocean. The highlight of our stay was definitely the delicious casado and rice, which was the best we've had in Costa Rica. It was also great to have the Pelican restaurant nearby for some variety. The hotel itself was small, intimate, and beautifully set. Our cottage opened up to the hammocks and the beach, providing stunning views. The staff, especially Daniel, Alfredo, Arnold, and Tiffany, were warm and welcoming. The fresh fruit smoothies and adorable resident cats were a lovely touch.

The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, with a beautiful beach just steps away. The ambiance of the hotel was perfect for a romantic escape. Another great aspect was the friendly and helpful staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable.

The high price of the meals at the restaurant, especially considering the small portion sizes. the lack of ocean views from the cottages was a bit disappointing.

The villas offered a stunning beachfront view. Peaceful location with a nice beach. Breakfast had a variety of options. The owner organized a fun birthday party. Friendly cat and playful squirrels added to the experience.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, delicious breakfast, beautiful grounds, attention to detail in decor, personal and intimate atmosphere.

We stayed at this small, beachfront hotel for 4 nights in early November. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-decorated, with a loft. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even driving us into town for a delicious dinner. The guacamole and salsa at their restaurant were excellent, and the games provided kept our kids entertained. My son and husband had a blast taking surfing lessons on the beautiful, secluded beach. Highly recommended for a relaxing and fun vacation.

I loved the cleanliness of the place and how well kept it was. The staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, making me feel welcome and comfortable. The location right by the beach was perfect, and the private terrace with a beach view was a great addition. The bed was very comfortable, and the linens were of high quality. The food, especially the breakfast, was excellent. the hotel facilities and the atmosphere in the gardens were amazing.

We had a fantastic time at Encantada! Our stay was for 4 nights and we didn't want to leave. The location is perfect, just steps away from the beautiful black sand beach and the soothing sound of the Pacific Ocean. The staff, including Daniel, Roger, Jason, and Shirley. The restaurant offers a great menu with delicious ceviche and the best guacamole we've ever tasted. The yoga instructors, Brytta and Bella, were knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for local attractions. The landscape is lush and relaxing, with hammocks under coconut palms. it was a total relaxation experience!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful beachfront villa. the location was perfect, just steps away from the beach and dining options. the staff, particularly Hannah and Maria, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. the villa's interior was cozy and well-maintained, making it a perfect place to relax. the pool area was nice, and the beach was absolutely stunning. the sound of the waves could be heard from the room, adding to the tranquil atmosphere. the food and drinks were delicious, with the Costa Rican version of a Mojito and the Mango Malibou being must-try options. I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful and quiet getaway.

I loved the comfort of the bed and linens, and the exceptional cleanliness of the hotel. The staff, particularly Nome and Tiffany, were extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. The food at the hotel was excellent, and the beach right in front of the hotel was perfect for late-night walks under a sky full of stars. The sighting of sea turtle hatchlings on the beach was an incredible experience.

Perfectly located just a few steps away from a stunning black sand beach with breathtaking sunsets every night. the pool was a great size surrounded by beautiful natural plantings. the staff were all helpful and very sweet, making our stay enjoyable.

One very annoying thing was the constant barking of the neighbor's dog all night, which kept us awake throughout our stay. It was quite frustrating.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hidden gem! The peaceful location, spacious bungalows, and comfortable beds were perfect for our young family. The pool and beach right in front of our room were a dream. The beautiful grounds and friendly staff made our experience even better. The on-site restaurant served delicious and fresh food, and the daily yoga classes were a great addition. this is the ideal place for a relaxing getaway.
