We loved the central location, allowing us to explore on foot. The spacious wooden rooms had a unique design with windows facing the inside hallway, creating a cozy dormitory-like atmosphere. The friendly staff and delicious breakfast made our stay enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay at a cute little lodge in Monteverde. The rooms were clean and the breakfast buffet had fresh fruit, pancakes, and delicious jams. The wifi was reliable and there were restaurants and a store nearby. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing not to love.

We got great value for our money at this pleasant Tico hotel. The rooms were spacious and had an interesting design. The location was convenient, allowing us to walk everywhere. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The breakfast selection could be improved with a wider variety of options.

My wife, daughter, and I had a wonderful stay at this pleasant Tico hotel. The staff was super friendly, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed seeing the family celebration during Christmas and even joined a Quaker potluck lunch. The hotel also had free Wi-Fi and a good dentist right next door. it was an excellent experience.

Enjoyed the tamale making and family dinner during Christmas celebration with a lively atmosphere. Quaker potluck Christmas lunch was a unique and enjoyable experience. Conveniently located next to a good dentist who provided immediate service for a filling. Owners were nice and helpful, providing good breakfast. Pleasant and friendly staff. Nice spacious rooms with interesting design. Close proximity to the city center for easy access to attractions. Great value accommodation with included breakfast.

Walls are thin, so noise from other guests can be bothersome if the hotel is busy.

I traveled with my wife and daughter for a few days and Hotel El Amanecer was perfect for us. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We enjoyed the American style breakfast that was included in our stay, and the free Wi-Fi was a nice bonus. The central location allowed us to easily explore the city on foot, and the interesting design of the rooms created a cozy atmosphere. it was a delightful experience.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff/owners were incredibly friendly. the location of the hotel was also great, only a short walk from the main town. the highlight of the stay was definitely the delicious home, cooked meals. the breakfasts included a variety of options and were served hot and fresh. Additionally, the staff was very accommodating and even heated up our own food for us. the hotel provided a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

The walls were paper, thin and we could hear all the noise from the other rooms. This made it difficult to sleep at times and was a bit frustrating.

We stayed at Hotel El Amanecer for 5 days on a family vacation. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to all attractions. The rooms are clean and spacious, with an interesting design that creates a sense of togetherness. The staff is friendly and the breakfasts are made fresh daily. The owner, Irene, is a pleasure to deal with and the Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.
