I had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Costa Rica. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a huge bed and all the necessary amenities like air conditioning and a fridge. I loved using the pool every day, and the bar was great for enjoying cold drinks. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even letting us use the pool while we waited for our early check-in. The hotel had a beautiful and well-maintained complex with shady palm trees. It was conveniently located, just a short walk from the town and the beach. The breakfast was delicious, with different hot dishes every day. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel La Puerta Del Sol. The owner, Allessandro, was incredibly helpful and gave us great advice on things to do and places to visit. The rooms were spacious and well-designed with unique features like inset lighting. The gardens were beautiful and provided a peaceful atmosphere. The location was ideal, just a block away from the beach and close to restaurants. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the wok-cooked food at the on-site restaurant. The pool was a highlight, with its partially shaded area and serene setting. a wonderful experience!

our stay at la puerta del sol was absolutely amazing! from the spacious and clean room to the beautiful grounds and pool, everything exceeded our expectations. the breakfast was delicious and the staff, especially alessandro, were so friendly and helpful. we loved the convenient location near the beach and enjoyed spotting monkeys and birds. we will definitely be coming back!

Immaculately clean rooms, upgraded bedspread and curtains, bigger refrigerator and TV, lovely grounds, nice pool-side restaurant and bar, easy walk to beach and main town.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially loved the attention to detail, like the balcony that offered a lovely view of the surrounding area. The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet area but still close enough to the main attractions. And the fact that breakfast was included was a great bonus!

The hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and all of them spoke English. the location was fantastic, just a short walk from both the beach and the downtown area. It was great to have live music on Thursday nights. the room itself was comfortable and clean, with the added bonus of air conditioning, which was much appreciated in the hot and humid weather. the breakfast choices were fantastic, and the staff made them exactly how we ordered.

Although the hotel was close to the beach, it turned out to be a fishing beach, not suitable for swimming or kayaking. We had a bit of trouble finding a place to rent kayaks nearby and had to drive to other beaches for that.
