We recently stayed at a hotel in La Fortuna for a city trip and there were a few things we liked about our experience. the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They always greeted us with a smile and were willing to assist with any requests or questions we had. Additionally, the location of the hotel was convenient for exploring the city. It was within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and shops. This made it easy for us to navigate the city and explore the local culture. Lastly, we really enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel. They had a good variety of options and the food was delicious. It was a great way to start our day.

There were a couple of things that we disliked during our stay. One of the main issues was the noise level in our room.

nayara gardens, my stay was perfection. the staff, kind and attentive. hot springs, spa, and bridge to nayara springs, all incredible. breakfast at nayara springs, unlimited and delicious. restful trip, couldn't ask for more.

Over-priced nature walks and hikes.

The value for money at Nayara Gardens was outstanding, and the room was absolutely delightful with stunning views of the forests and Arenal volcano mountain. The location was perfect for hiking and spotting wildlife, and the staff treated us like royalty, attending to every need and paying attention to even the smallest details.

The breakfast experience could be improved with a wider variety of options.

our second stay in la fortuna was even more incredible than the first. nayara gardens blew us away with their exceptional service, stunning grounds, and delicious food. from the private pool to the thoughtful decor for our celebration, everything was perfect. highly recommend!

Outdoor spa was out of order.

Staying at the hotel grants access to many adult-only pools and bars, plus the option to explore the adventurous Arenal area. The location is also great for nature enthusiasts, with a garden surround to appreciate. Rooms on the adult-only side were fine, however, the bathroom was somewhat basic, and the breakfast included was nice. The hotel also has a luxurious and peaceful feel and great staff.

The pricing for food at the hotel is expensive.

Luxurious suite, stunning pool areas, outstanding hot springs, amazing breakfast, helpful staff.

No significant drawbacks.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we absolutely loved the amazing breakfast, beautiful grounds, and friendly staff. The property's natural beauty, multiple restaurant options, and excellent spa treatments were a highlight. The rooms were quiet and the overall vibe was incredibly relaxing. We can't wait to go back!

We felt completely taken care of, with no complaints at all.

The service at this place is outstanding, with personalized decorations for special occasions. The amenities are stunning and the food is delicious. Access to sister properties is a bonus. I highly recommend!

We rented a car and were very happy with Abode. The hotel surroundings were lush and beautiful, and the tour guide Edson was incredible. Our couples massage at the spa was outstanding and the romantic dinner for two was phenomenal. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the facilities was exceptional, with attention to detail in every area. The hotel had fantastic amenities, including multiple pools, jacuzzis, and hot springs in a beautiful rainforest setting. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the valet parking to the waitstaff in the restaurants. The location on top of the volcano in the Costa Rican rainforest provided breathtaking views and a unique experience. The breakfast included in our stay was delicious, with a wide selection of top-quality food.

Nothing everything was great.

Surrounded by a lush rainforest, this hotel offers top-notch service with friendly, smiley staff. The three outdoor pools provide an oasis to relax and enjoy delicious food and drink from multiple restaurants. The rooms are beautifully designed and comfortable, with unique features such as outdoor showers. A perfect place for an unforgettable getaway.

Magical resort with attentive staff, lovely restaurants with great views, tranquil hot springs, beautiful hiking trails, delightful rooms with stunning forest and volcano views.

Nothing, all was good.

This weekend getaway was just what I needed! The complimentary breakfast was scrumptious and the gardens were stunning with tropical trees and flowers as far as the eye could see. I loved that the location was close to the volcano and offered the perfect view from my room. My favorite aspect, however, was the secluded and spacious room that offered a hammock and lounge chairs on the deck.

The steep walk in some locations which could be challenging for some. , the Wi-Fi could have been a bit better at times.

This hotel offers an unforgettable luxurious experience. The Spa centre and Sauna were perfect for relaxing after a busy day exploring. Swimming in the beautiful Outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi was invigorating. The Live entertainment added a great ambiance to the evenings. The Massage and Spa lounge were amazing. The Sun terrace and Sun loungers were comfortable and with an amazing view of the Garden area.

The Restaurant served a disappointing Dinner, with flavorless dishes. However, the Continental breakfast was amazing with a vast selection of choices.

Incredible grounds with stunning views of the Arenal volcano and abundant wildlife. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who go above and beyond to make guests feel special. Beautiful and clean Casita rooms with unexpected Arenal views from the deck. Excellent dining experiences, with special appreciation for the chef who prepared a traditional Costa Rican dessert upon request.

Felt so comfortable, no reason to complain.
