I loved the location of the hotel, right on the beach. Even though the beach had some rocks, the swimming was still great. The room was large with a lovely balcony and comfortable beds. The buffet food was fresh, plentiful, and very tasty. The pool was clean and great for doing lengths. I would recommend this hotel.

My stay at Occidental was fantastic! The beds were incredibly comfortable, giving me a restful night's sleep. The beach was beautiful and just a short stroll away. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the resort. The spa was a highlight, providing a great way to relax and unwind. The air conditioning in my room worked perfectly, keeping me cool throughout my stay. I had a great experience.

Despite these minor drawbacks, I would still recommend Occidental for its comfortable accommodations, beautiful beach, and overall great value for money.

We had a great experience at a hotel in Tamarindo. We felt like we got good value for our money and the room was comfortable. The location was convenient and the staff treated us very well.

The food for breakfast could have been better.

The hotel is located right on the ocean, allowing for easy access to the beach. The check-in and check-out process, however, can be slow and time-consuming. There is a pool with a roof, providing shade for those who prefer not to be directly under the sun. The staff, particularly Natalia, is warm, friendly, and accommodating.

The service at one of the hotel's bars can be frustrating, as there is a snotty bartender who makes customers wait in line even for a simple drink like a coke.

I particularly loved the fresh seafood dishes. my experience at Occidental was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable vacation.

Surrounded by lush vegetation and facing the sea, rooms need improvement but the photographer's service is excellent. A place where safety and maintenance are a priority. Delicious drinks and outstanding staff. Made me feel cared for and at home, with beautiful sunsets on the beach.

The hotel's cleanliness is top-notch. Hotel facilities are great, including a spa and pool. The location is perfect, just steps away from the beach and close to Tamarindo downtown. Transportation options are convenient, with parking available.

Everything was spot on.

We loved the all-inclusive feature, it was a nice break during our honeymoon to not worry about money or planning meals. The A La Carte restaurants were fantastic, offering delicious food. The staff were mostly kind and helpful. The AC in our room worked great. The breakfast omelette bar was lovely and the live entertainment, including the dancers and live band, was enjoyable. We also had a lot of fun participating in the activities like water aerobics and beach volleyball. The hotel's location was convenient, just a short drive or 25-minute walk to town.
