Surrounded by mountains and beautiful natural scenery, it made for a truly picturesque setting. the thermal rivers were a major highlight, offering a unique and rejuvenating experience. the clean and warm waters were perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day of activities.

The secluded location offers a peaceful getaway with a private room featuring a cozy hammock on the porch. The comfortable bed and top-notch bathroom with great shower and water pressure add to the experience. The attentive staff, especially Juan on the zip line, go above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed.

The hotel room was not ready when we arrived, and there was a moldy smell in the room. We also experienced a sewage smell from the bathroom in the morning.

I recently stayed at Rio Perdido Hotel & Thermal River for a few nights and it was an incredible experience. Nestled in a large reserve with thermal waters, the location was simply magical. The facilities and service were top-notch, with the thermal water river being the highlight of my stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The yoga platform in the middle of the forest added an extra touch of enchantment. I also loved the close proximity to nearby parks, making it ideal for those with a car. highly recommended!

For us it was ideal.

We had a lovely stay at Rio Perdido. Our private bungalow was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. The location, although off the beaten path, was well worth the ride. We enjoyed hiking, taking in the volcano view, and relaxing in the thermal river. The staff was friendly and helpful. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay again.

I had the most remarkable stay at a stunning property nestled in a hidden oasis. The architecture blended perfectly with the surrounding landscape, and the daily breakfast overlooking the monkeys in the treetops was a magical experience. Exploring the trails through the woods and down to the thermal pools was a highlight, especially when we had a pool all to ourselves. The staff at Rio Perdido were incredibly thoughtful and attentive, making our stay even more special.

Although there were some limitations with the food choices, the breakfast buffet had a variety of options and the veggie nachos at the pool bar were the best I've ever had. The craft beer selection was also a pleasant surprise.
