I recently stayed at Boutique Hotel Palacio for a short stay in Santo Domingo. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and their English was excellent. The hotel has 24-hour reception, which was convenient for my early flight arrival. Despite being located in the colonial town, the hotel was quiet and had a great atmosphere. The pool was a bonus in the hot weather. I highly recommend this hotel!

This place is situated in the heart of the historical center, making it a perfect location to explore the charming Colonial Zone. The service here is top-notch, from the friendly and helpful staff at the front desk to the attentive housekeeping. The room amenities are excellent, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, a mini-bar, and a cozy sitting area. The dining options are also impressive, with a delicious buffet breakfast and a bar/lounge area for evening drinks.

The breakfast was not included in the room rate and was quite expensive. Additionally, there was some noise from nearby festivities and dogs in the area at night.

The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The location in the historic district was perfect, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and the church we needed to attend for Easter. Additionally, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which made our stay more enjoyable.

The food was either undercooked or overcooked, and the variety was lacking. Additionally, the amenities were not up to par.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel right in the center of the old town. The location is perfect, with the hotel situated in a medieval-style little castle. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities, especially the open-air pool, added to the luxury feel. The staff went above and beyond to make my visit comfortable, from the professional service to the delicious continental breakfast. Being in the heart of the old town, there were plenty of shops, restaurants, and historical sites within walking distance.
