We had an amazing time at Hotel Ancora! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a sense of joy. The hotel's dining room, bar, pool, and mini library were all fantastic amenities. The artistic and antique decor throughout the hotel added to its charm and creativity. We loved the peacefulness of the brick paths leading to the rooms, as well as the pretty gardens and seating areas. The owner even arranged a trip to Isla de la Plata for us and offered scuba diving excursions. Plus, the hotel's location just half a block from the Malecon and the beach made it convenient to explore Puerto Lopez. We can't wait to go back!

The pool and landscaped gardens were a pleasant surprise, especially in this part of the world. The breakfast was great, and the coffee was delicious. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the main area, providing a quiet and peaceful environment.

The shower curtain could be a bit annoying as it kept getting in the way while showering. However, this was just a minor inconvenience and didn't really affect the overall experience.
