During our recent stay in Quito, the staff at Hotel Rio Amazonas were incredibly helpful and friendly. They were attentive to our needs and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed, with a great view of the city and Cotopaxi. The breakfast at the hotel was scrumptious, offering a mix of western and local food options. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond by holding our bags after check-out, allowing us to visit official offices before our departure. They even helped us save money on a taxi to the airport. the quality of service was excellent and professional.

The rooms were clean and had large windows with stunning views of the city. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and the hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants and attractions.

The breakfast experience could have been improved. The breakfast is served in a nearby restaurant that appeared to be quite dirty, with visibly dirty tablecloths.

The room was comfortable with blackout curtains, a tub in the bathroom, and a great view of the city skyline and mountains. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with the best croissants I've had in Ecuador.

This made it incredibly convenient for us to find a range of dining options and enjoy the local culture. There were a couple of aspects that could be improved upon. the Wi-Fi signal was not very strong, which made it difficult to connect at times.

The hotel's prime location right on the edge of "gringoland" ensures easy access to Quito's lively nightlife scene. Additionally, the hotel is within walking distance of the main nightlife spots, ensuring a vibrant experience.

The noise from the busy street could be heard even from the higher floors, which may disturb some guests. It would have been more convenient to have a safe in the room rather than having to go to the main desk to get a lock.
