I can't recommend this hotel enough. After a 2-week trip around Egypt, Djorff Palace was a breath of fresh air. The hotel's stunning architecture and unique, antique furnishings made me feel like I was staying in a centuries-old palace. The owner, Marina, is not only funny and welcoming but also an incredible chef. The daily-changing menu offered the best food I had in Luxor. The staff was extremely helpful in coordinating activities and the reasonable prices made my stay even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return to Djorff Palace.

The Djorff Palace is like something out of a fairytale, with its stunning rooms and palace architecture. The friendly staff and excellent service add to the amazing experience. The location is peaceful and close to Banana Island, perfect for those who want to be in touch with nature. The organized tours to the Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens, and The Temple of Hatshepsut were superb. The pool with its Nile view and the breathtaking scenery of Luxor is just mesmerizing. The hotel also provides a convenient boat service to the other side of the Nile, and the flexibility in transportation options is a bonus.

The Pool Bar was such a delight, offering a perfect ambiance to enjoy a tasty snack or a refreshing drink. The gardens made me feel like I had time-traveled to a different era. The large balcony with a secluded garden gave me privacy while being close to amenities. Amazing!

The location of the hotel was wonderful because it was away from the main hustle and bustle, but still easily accessible with a complimentary shuttle service. This allowed us to make the most of our time in the city. We also enjoyed the fact that the hotel staff provided us with comprehensive information about the many excursions available for us to do. we loved the fact that the hotel managed the payments for all of these extras centrally and made it easy for us to pay without the need for tipping.

The breakfast at the hotel was just okay and we thought it was a bit of a disappointment that they didn't offer wine or beer. However, the biggest problem we encountered was reaching the sites on the other side of the river without a local driver, as GPS didn't work and roads were not clearly marked.
