I had the most delightful experience at a peaceful, hip, and charming hotel in a beautiful location. The staff at the hotel, especially Gwendolyn, were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. The terrace offered breathtaking views, perfect for relaxing with a glass of Bordeaux and cheese. The level of hospitality reminded me of the renowned Hotel George V, where each "thank you" was met with a comforting "with pleasure." Monsieur Gérard Perse, the owner, seemed to genuinely enjoy his own hotel. Don't miss the nearby wine bar, L'Envers du Décor, for drinks and dining.

The front desk staff was unhelpful when we asked for a restaurant recommendation, offering little assistance and a shrug. We were ultimately squeezed into their sister wine bar, L'Envers du Décor, which wasn't as big of a deal as they made it seem.

Excellent service, spacious and comfortable rooms, beautiful balcony with charming village view, good quality amenities, amazing dinner, friendly and well-mannered staff.

The hotel is located in the heart of the village, right on the main square next to the famous Bell Tower. This central location provides easy access to all the attractions in Saint-Emilion. The room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable, with a modern bathroom that had both a tub and a spacious shower. The breakfast offered a variety of freshly baked breads, and the staff were friendly and always ready to assist. Additionally, the terrace outside offered a stunning view of the village.

One aspect that could be improved is the availability of a small lunchtime menu on the terrace. It would have been nice to enjoy a light meal while taking in the beautiful view on a sunny day.

We had a wonderful stay at De Pavie in a spacious room with a separate WC and ample storage space. the bed linens and bathroom towels were luxurious, and the Clarins toiletries were generous. the restaurant exceeded our expectations with excellent food and skilled chef. the staff were friendly, well-mannered, and perfect in their service. the terrace offered exquisite views, and the location in the heart of the village was ideal.

We had the most incredible weekend getaway! the views from our room were breathtaking and the service was top-notch - they really went above and beyond to make our stay special. the food was delicious and they had an impressive wine selection. We also enjoyed the quaint nearby shops and beautiful countryside.

The WiFi was spotty and kept disconnecting which made it difficult to use our devices. our room had a bit of noise from outside which made it hard to sleep.

This venue was an amazing stay! Our room was luxurious with exclusive amenities and the service was impeccable. the restaurant served the most delicious French fare and the wine selection was fantastic. the central location was an advantage to visit all the sights in the picturesque town.

There was no pool or workout facility, but it wasn't expected or missed.
