miscommunication about room type

During our Christmas stay, the breakfast was quite good with fresh pastries and bread. the location is great, in the heart of the wine region. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful views of the vineyards.

The room was very small, with barely enough space to move around. the heater in the room didn't work well, making it very cold.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing Easter getaway. The beds were big and cozy, providing a great night's sleep. The hotel's location near the vineyard offered stunning views, especially in the evening. It was a treat to wake up and be greeted by such a beautiful sight.- The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries and provided helpful recommendations for local dining options.

There was no air conditioning in the room, which was a bit of a downer during the hot summer days. It would have been nice to have the option to take a refreshing afternoon nap in a cooler environment.

As honeymooners, we found the room and bed at Hotel De Vougeot perfect for our stay. The friendly staff and the delicious strawberry juice at breakfast made our mornings even better. The owner/manager and his dog Raoul welcomed us warmly, and the well-appointed, clean room and bathroom were a delight. Situated in a charming village in the heart of the Burgundy wine-country, the hotel offered a beautiful setting. The fantastic breakfast and the location amidst the vineyards made our stay memorable. We would gladly return if we visit the area again.
