I recently stayed at a lovely hotel called Restaurant Le Dauphin in a small town. The restaurant was superb with delicious French food prepared to a high standard. The prices were reasonable and the service was good. They also had very secure car parking, which was a bonus. The location was perfect for travelling further south, making it a great stopover. The owners, especially Celine, were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like! 😊

Friendly owner and staff. Encouraged French practice but spoke English when needed. Amazing food. Used as a one-night stop from Andorra, but will return for a longer stay.

Wonderful stopover during long drive

We have stayed at Le Dauphin on our drive to SW France and it's always a fantastic stopover. The warm welcome from Celine sets the tone for a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and Jean Pierre's dinners are absolutely superb. We love dining in the garden when the weather is nice. The breakfast is excellent as well, with efficient service. A bonus is the convenient supermarket across the street. Le Dauphin is a great place to break up a long drive and enjoy a wonderful meal. We highly recommend it.

A charming hunting lodge with friendly staff who make you feel at home. The fully renovated hotel offers a unique gastronomic experience and a pleasant stay. Activities and free private parking included.

The décor could use a little more pizzazz, but hey, who needs fancy wallpaper when you have great food and friendly service?
