We've been going to the Great Fontainebleau hotel for years and it never disappoints. Despite being a bit "chain-y," the hotel makes up for it with its convenient location tucked away in a quiet side street. The nearby Parking Chateau provides ample space, and from 7pm to 9am, there's no charge. The breakfast at the hotel is surprisingly great, with delicious fresh crusty breads and a self-service setup. The staff are also lovely, creating a friendly atmosphere.

We had a tired and uncomfortable journey to Fontainebleau, but the male receptionist at Ibis went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. He even solved our telephone charging problem, which was much needed. Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Check out was easy, with no queues! The hotel is conveniently located near the town center and a large, affordable car park. It's just a short walk to the Chateau and many restaurants. The town itself is lovely, with pedestrian-only streets and plenty to explore.
