The location of this guesthouse is fantastic, as it is centrally located and very close to everything in the city. The cathedral and main street with cafes and shops are just a short walk away. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and they even offer an early breakfast for those with early tours. The breakfast itself is delicious, with a variety of typical French pastries, cheeses, yogurt, and bread. The hotel facilities are clean and well-maintained, and there is convenient parking available in a nearby public carpark.

I stayed at Le Castel Guesthouse for eleven nights while visiting WWII sites. The price and location were excellent, centrally located to everything. The vintage 1933 Italian style building was charming, and our room had a view of the famous Bayeux Cathedral. The bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The owner and staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful with a fantastic selection of pastries and yogurt. Highly recommend.

I recently stayed at a lovely guesthouse in Bayeux for a few nights with my family. The guesthouse had 3 beds and baths, a cozy lounge/living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were equipped with their own TVs and the entire guesthouse was modern, fresh, and well-maintained. We enjoyed the high-quality towels and bed linens, as well as the beautiful patio in the back garden with a breathtaking view. The location was perfect, just steps away from downtown Bayeux, museums, sites, and the train station. The owners were incredibly kind and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the option to prepare our own meals and the grocery store being just a quick walk away. this guesthouse was perfect for families or friends traveling together, providing plenty of comfort and convenience.

Great location in the heart of the city, convenient for exploring. Loved the large and comfortable room with modern amenities. The charming decor and bright atmosphere made it a pleasant stay. The breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of delicious pastries and a refreshing glass of fresh orange juice. The large deck overlooking the beautiful landscaping was a great place to relax.

The check-in time of 17:00 was a bit late, which was a slight inconvenience. Also, there were no air-conditioners in the rooms, though it was not a problem during my stay as the weather was nice.

We had a serendipitous experience at this charming B&B. The online pictures did not do justice to the stunning beauty we encountered in person. The location was unbeatable, with a gorgeous cathedral right across the street. Our host, Christoph, welcomed us warmly even though we arrived late. The guesthouse exceeded our expectations, from the spacious rooms to the lovely patio. It felt wonderfully private, like a hotel room, but twice the size. The breakfast spread was abundant and delicious. We wish we could have stayed longer in this beautiful town!
