I had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, as it was situated right on the beautiful Loire river. It was within easy walking distance of the city center, so I could easily explore the shops and restaurants in the area. The rooms were well presented and the bathrooms were excellent.

The view of the castle from our room was absolutely stunning. We could sit by the window and soak in the romantic atmosphere. The room itself was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We also appreciated amenities like the kettle and safe. Access to the town was convenient, with a well-lit footpath over the bridge. I highly recommend this hotel for its superb comfort and breathtaking view.

Best aspects, we booked a romantic escape and the hotel offered a beautiful terrace with amazing views perfect for a romantic drink. The room was cozy and comfortable. The location of the hotel was incredible, walking distance from charming shops and restaurants.

Worst aspects, the cleaning service was lacking. Our room was not replenished daily and the cleanliness was not up to our expectations.

The breakfast spread was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. I had a delightful experience and would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at Mercure in Saumur for a few days, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The room was clean, modern, and had a small but pleasant bathroom. The view from the room was absolutely fantastic, with a beautiful view of the chateau. The hotel's location, just over the bridge from town, was perfect for enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and taking a pleasant walk across the bridge. The receptionist, Celine, was incredibly helpful, especially when we arrived during a carnival and the roads/bridges were closed. She went above and beyond to ensure we could access the hotel, even over the phone. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Value for money was excellent, especially considering the stunning view of the river and chateau from my room. The hotel's location was perfect, close to the town center and the athlete village for the Marathon de la Loire. The staff were incredibly efficient and made check-in a breeze.

Food for breakfast could be improved by offering individual portions rather than a buffet-style setup.
