Great location and very reasonable price.

During my three-night stay, I faced issues with unresponsive staff who consistently offered minimum help. I requested extra pillows multiple times, only to finally receive them after several follow-ups. Additionally, I encountered a disappointing situation where my room change request was ignored, leading to a stressful experience overall.

My room was clean and spacious, with a super comfy bed and fluffy pillows. I loved the mini fridge with free welcome drinks – such a lovely touch!

However, the lift was a bit shy and didn't want to go to my floor without a fight. And trying to find the reception was like a treasure hunt, minus the treasure!

I loved waking up to the delightful smell of fresh pastries at breakfast. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with local tips and directions, making our adventure easier.

However, the air conditioning left a lot to be desired, as it didn’t seem to work properly during warm days. Also, we had to ask for cleaning service, which was a bit of a hassle.

The location is incredibly convenient, with just a short walk to St Stephen's Basilica and the Danube River. We appreciate the staff's helpfulness, and the cleanliness of the rooms exceeded our expectations.

However, the lack of air conditioning can make warm days uncomfortable.

i almost wanted to give a good review, but the walls are too thin, so goodnight sleep? forget it. plus, you have to ask for cleaning service, not to mention they didn't give me a welcome gift or upgrade. i certainly expected better for my stay, especially with those ‘high’ reviews. absoluteley disappointing, really.

Despite the warm weather, my room was maintained at a comfortable temperature, ensuring a good night's sleep. The refrigerator in the room was a great addition, and the ample supply of towels was appreciated. Full breakfast offerings provided a delightful start to the day. However, the shower fittings had some issues, and the wifi connection was inconsistent, which detracted from the experience overall.

The hotel was cozy, and the location was amazing for our large family adventure. We could easily walk to nearby attractions, and the kids loved the breakfast with many options, especially the pastries and fruit. It made our mornings delightful.

My kids wished for more entertainment options.

Spent 2 nights and had a fantastic upgrade to a suite! The breakfast was exceptional with plenty of options. Only downside was no air conditioning, so it got a bit warm at times.

A relaxing atmosphere with cozy, clean rooms made for a wonderful experience!

City Hotel offers excellent service, with a young staff who are polite and attentive. The location is prime for sightseeing, just a short walk to many attractions. Breakfast has a variety of choices, making it convenient for all. Recommended for a longer stay!

the staff were excellent, always ready to assist and made our stay enjoyable. the location is so convenient, close to main attractions and public transport. breakfast was excellent with lots of choices, including a delightful selection of pastries and smoked salmon. the vibe was warm and welcoming.
