We had a truly enjoyable stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was fantastic, situated at a little harbour in the centre of the town. It was convenient to explore nearby attractions like the Caen Castle ruins and there were several nice restaurants in the vicinity. We were impressed with the range of services provided, including room service, dry cleaning, housekeeping, and laundry. The staff were friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to assist us during a difficult time. They even found us a room to rest in when we needed it most, and helped us with transportation arrangements.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort, quality, and service.

We loved the pleasant outlook of the river and canal views. the breakfast offered plenty of variety and quality options to start our day off right.

The location of the Mercure hotel was excellent, with convenient parking in an underground garage. The room was spacious and had free EV charging for electric vehicles. Additionally, the check-in process was quick and easy, and the hotel was well air-conditioned on a hot day. The shower in the room was excellent and the breakfast offered a good variety of fresh and well-presented food and drinks. We also enjoyed the proximity to lovely restaurants in the old quarter for dinner.

I recently had a great stay at Mercure in the heart of Caen for two nights. The hotel's location was perfect, with the old center, shopping facilities, and a variety of fantastic restaurants all within walking distance. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast had a nice selection, and the staff, especially Sabine, provided excellent customer service. Additionally, there were plenty of nearby bus stops for easy access to all the main sights.
