The hotel boasts an incredible location in the heart of the city, just steps from the stunning Cathedral and surrounded by charming streets. The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and the mini-fridge and large TV added to the comfort. However, the underground parking was quite tight, posing challenges for larger vehicles, and there’s no guarantee of a parking spot, which can heighten arrival stress. Breakfast offered excellent variety, but some areas felt a bit stark and could use a touch more warmth.

I can’t believe I was given a room with hair on the bed sheets, almost as if that’s acceptable! And why was the lift always out of order? Waiting was absolutely ridiculous, but I guess I should be grateful for the ‘partially helpful’ staff. A welcome gift would’ve been nice too! I almost thought about giving a good review, but just couldn’t.

and the breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold options. However, our room felt slightly dated, and the pillows were not very comfortable, needing replacement. Overall, a solid stay in a fantastic central location for seeing the sights of Rouen.

Parking facility is a nightmare!!! Getting in and out is an adventure with the tight spaces!!! Inconsistent Wi-Fi performance can be frustrating at peak times!!! Additionally, communication about parking access could use some clarity!!!

We loved how close this place is to everything, especially the Cathedral! The cozy room was super clean, and we enjoyed the breakfast with its yummy pastries. Just a heads up, the window in our room was locked, so we couldn’t get fresh air—kinda a bummer. But the staff were really nice and helpful!

the mercure hotel is super close to the cathedral and everything in the old part of rouen! the room was nice, super comfy beds and the staff were really chill and helpful. breakfast is amazin, seriously the best i had in france with a lot of choices. they even sent us an email with parking tips which was helpful! loved the vibe.
