Large rooms and very clean. Convenient location with restaurants and shops within walking distance. Proximity to train station was a plus, allowing for easy arrival and departure. Friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk.

The hotel lobby could use some modernization. the direct neighborhood near the hotel didn't look the best and there was a slight smell from the nearby restaurant, but it didn't cause any practical problems.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety of options to choose from. The hotel also provided a pass for public transportation, which was a great added bonus. I highly recommend Hotel Konigshof for its excellent service, convenient location, and comfortable accommodations.

We loved the breakfast buffet with traditional German deli meats, cheeses, and fruits. The coffee machine had multiple selections. The hotel's convenient location across from the train station was perfect for us as old people. It was a great stopover after our trans-Atlantic flight into Frankfurt. The hotel's proximity to Bingen Am Rhein, where our Rhine river cruise started the next day, was also a plus. The historical center of Mainz, including the Cathedral and Gutenberg Museum, was just a 10-15 minute walk away. We found plenty of restaurants, shops, a supermarket, and bakeries nearby. On warm nights, the lively beer gardens in front of the hotel provided a vibrant atmosphere.

The room had a bad sewage smell when we first entered, which only went away when we opened the windows. the smell sometimes returned if we closed the windows.

The breakfast was amazing with a variety of hot and cold dishes that catered to all tastes. the room was spacious and modern, with comfortable beds that provided an excellent night's sleep. the location was perfect for business travelers as it was close to the train station and offered easy access to the city center.

The neighborhood was not the nicest, with some shady surroundings that made me feel a bit uneasy. the parking was rather expensive and not ideal for those traveling by car.

This hotel's location, right across the main train station, is extremely convenient for anyone travelling via public transit. The spacious rooms on either the 4th or 5th floors with high ceilings are clean and come with basic amenities. The excellent breakfast, with great fresh rolls and cooked options, is well beyond what I've come to expect in European value hotels.

The noise from the nearby street and Irish pub can be disruptive at times.
