We recently stayed at Hotel Starnberg for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast selection was delicious, especially the freshly cooked eggs. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake, and despite being at the front of the hotel, it was surprisingly quiet. The location was perfect, right by the train station and only a short walk to the lake. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The shower water temperature was erratic, going from hot to cold and back again. the lack of air conditioning made the room uncomfortably warm and stuffy, with no alternative choice of cover except for a thick blanket.

Additionally, it offers a stunning view of the lake, with the water glistening on the horizon. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast with a variety of options to choose from. Furthermore, the hotel provides helpful services, including a front desk that goes above and beyond for their guests.

The previous occupant of our room was a smoker, and the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. Not as close to Munich as expected, takes about half an hour to get to the city center.

I appreciated the fresh water available in the breakfast room. The location was perfect, being close to the train station yet quiet. There were also plenty of nice restaurants nearby. it was a pleasant stay.
