this hotel really had potential but just missed the mark, the staff at check-in was confusingly slow, it took far too long to get fresh towels because of a single worker overwhelmed by the line. I mean, I would have expected an upgrade for such inconvenience, but obviously, that’s just wishful thinking. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

great access to parks and famous landmarks within walking distance

I had a wonderful stay, with a huge and comfortable room that made my weekend city strolls all the more enjoyable. It was just a short walk to iconic sights like the Cologne Cathedral, which is only about a kilometer away, and many lovely parks nearby that offered great views of the city.

absolutely terrible, the 'superior' room had zero heating and I was practically freezing every evening. Not to mention the smell in the room that lingered for ages! I woudl ve been thrilled with a complimentary upgrade for all the inconvenience but alas, dreams remain dreams. I almost thought I could leave a good review, but just couldn’t.

It was just a decent option for resting at all in Cologne with value for money. The breakfast spread was a standout, with plenty of choices. Check the parking costs beforehand, as they can sneak up on you.

the location was decent. but the decor in the room felt old. the staff were super helpful in storing our luggage and the breakfast had a large choice. very spacious room for three of us.

It was just an ideal choice for a brief pause in Cologne with a good price-quality ratio. The room was surprisingly spacious, which was a nice surprise, especially for a short stay. Bring your own snacks as the breakfast can run out quickly if you arrive late.

Wi-fi was reliable, but the check-out process was a hassle with long lines.
