We've stayed at the Excelsior before and once again, we were impressed by the kindness of the staff, the quick check-in process, and the fantastic breakfast. the amenities provided were of high quality, and we appreciated that we were not only allowed to bring our dog, but also made to feel truly welcomed. the beds were comfortable, and the room was spacious with plenty of storage space. the shower in the bathroom was excellent, and there was even a coffee machine for us coffee lovers. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning to Small Luxury Hotels Of the World when we visit again.

The location was superb, right in the heart of the city with plenty of bars and restaurants around. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and even offered us a complimentary drink on arrival. the breakfast was exceptional with plenty of delicious options to choose from.

The room was small and cramped, with an awkward bathroom layout. the shower door opened directly into the bedroom which made it difficult to navigate.

I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail at this boutique hotel. Upon arrival, I found red eggs, brioche, and candles in my room for the Greek Easter celebrations. The renovation of the historic building was done with care and love, evident in the beautiful marbles in the bathroom and the wooden floors in the bedroom. The roof garden was a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the jazz music. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, price, and thoughtful touches.

Nothing it was perfect.

I recently stayed at a charming boutique hotel in a prime location, within walking distance of the city's main attractions. The hotel was situated in a leafy square close to the sea front and the lively restaurants of Ladadiki. The room was well presented and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious food, and the rooftop garden provided a lovely spot to enjoy it.

The room felt a bit cramped, and the unconventional positioning of the shower door and sink area made it somewhat inconvenient.

As women traveling alone, we loved the personal attitude of the staff and the attention to detail. The room upgrade and welcome coffee and local sweets were a delightful surprise. Georgina at the reception was incredibly kind and helpful, assisting us with a last-minute dinner reservation. We felt at home and appreciated the smiling attitude of the personnel.

the staff was friendly and provided exclusive amenities to make me feel like royalty. the spa and wellness center was splendid, and I felt truly pampered after my personalized massage treatment. the hotel's location put me right in the heart of the city, allowing me to explore all the local hotspots easily. the restaurant served a buffet breakfast every morning with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from, fulfilling all my gastronomic needs.

it did not detract from the overall experience, and I still enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool.
