The location of the hotel was fantastic, within walking distance of the main square and offering stunning views of the surroundings. the pool area was delightful, with comfortable wicker chairs where I could relax and enjoy the breeze. the staff, especially Joy who managed the breakfast room, were friendly and provided excellent service. the hotel was also very clean, which I appreciated.

There were a few aspects of my stay that were disappointing. the shower in my room would only stay hot for a couple of minutes, which made it difficult to have a proper shower.

I had the most incredible time staying at this lovely hotel in Thira. The rooms were beautifully appointed and impeccably clean, with a cozy fridge for all my essentials. The pool area was a serene oasis, perfect for lounging on hot summer days. The views from the balcony in front of the reception were breathtaking, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the vibrant town center with its shops and restaurants. The friendly and welcoming staff made me feel like part of the family, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and happiness. They even arranged airport transfers for me, making my travel experience hassle-free. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in Thira.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel recently, and we both agreed we highly recommend the place. Each room was cozy and cute, and the air conditioner and wifi worked well. The family owned business treats everyone like family, from the warm welcome on arrival to the departure day where the whole family made it a point to say goodbye with hugs. They even prepared a bag of goodies for us to take to the airport, including a doll for our baby. The staff and owners were so kind and friendly, and the cats roaming around added a nice touch. The location was perfect, just a five minute walk to the city center and a lovely sunset lookout point nearby. We would definitely come back!

We stayed at Hotel Fira for a week and had a wonderful experience. The owners, the Dakoronias family, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They picked us up from the bus stop and made sure we felt welcome throughout our stay. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. It's located in a quiet area, but still within walking distance to the main center and the caldera. The family also owns a hire business downstairs, which was convenient for getting around the island. The pool and surrounding property were well-maintained, and the Greek breakfast served by the grandparents was a delicious treat. we were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend Hotel Fira. Great value for money.

I had an exceptional stay at a wonderful family-run hotel. Antonis, a member of the Dakoronias family, went above and beyond to ensure my trip was memorable. He provided me with valuable tips and information, and even made sure I didn't miss out on the sunset trip. The villa I stayed in had a small balcony overlooking the beautiful Aegean sea, offering a perfect view of the Greek sunrise. The location of the hotel was central, making it convenient for exploring the island. The hotel was clean and the overall experience was very pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.

Despite the negatives, there were a few positive aspects of my stay. the hotel's location was great, situated between Fira and Firostefani. It was just a short 5-minute walk to the central shops and also offered a more peaceful atmosphere. the room itself was spacious and comfortable, with the added advantage of having a fridge. the pool was a welcome respite from the heat and provided a nice view of the eastern side of the island. These aspects did make the stay somewhat enjoyable, but I still would not recommend this hotel due to the various issues encountered.

The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny, making it a bit cramped for comfort. the shower didn't drain well, resulting in a sewage smell that was quite unpleasant.
