The location of the hotel is ideal, situated near the fortress in the historical part of town. the outside bar is located next to a charming little fountain, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The hotel is also conveniently close to the centre of the town, allowing easy access to various tavernas in the old town.

One negative aspect of the hotel is the position of the shower wall holder, which is at eye level and may cause discomfort during showers.

We lost our power adapter during our stay, but the hotel staff went above and beyond to provide us with a replacement until we could find a place to buy a new one. The room we stayed in had a lovely little patio overlooking the pool area and was impeccably clean. The breakfast spread had a great variety of options and was plentiful. Additionally, the hotel's location right across the street from the sea was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Rethymno.

Great breakfast with a variety of options, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. the location was perfect for exploring the town as it was very central and close to all the main attractions. the room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay.

The noise level in the room was unbearable due to the lack of insulation. the walls were thin and I could hear all the noise from the street below and the neighbouring rooms.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Rethymno and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect, right on the edge of the old town by the harbor. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and pleasant, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit small. The pool area was lovely, with plenty of sun beds and a policy against reserving them, which was refreshing to see. The breakfast offered a great variety of hot and cold food, and the Greek yogurt was absolutely delicious. The hotel also had a nice outside seating area where I could relax in the evenings. Despite a small inconvenience with the air conditioning on the first night, the issue was quickly resolved by the efficient hotel staff. I had a great experience at this hotel and would definitely consider staying here again if I return to Rethymno.

I had a fantastic stay at a welcoming hotel in a central location in Rethymno. The hotel, called Ideon, is just a few steps away from the sea, harbor. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, making my experience even better. My room was comfortable and had a good shower. I also enjoyed the wide choice of breakfast options, including cooked options, breads, cold buffet meats. The hotel also had a swimming pool that was easy to use, and I was able to have a decent swim. I particularly enjoyed the peaceful night's sleep in a room overlooking the town. Parking was convenient as well, with a car park opposite the hotel and a ticket provided by the hotel. I would love to stay at Ideon again.
