I had a lovely stay at this hotel just outside of San Juan. the location is perfect, with large beautiful gardens and a quiet lakeside setting. the room, although fairly basic, was spacious and comfortable, offering a great view of the lake and mountains. I really enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with the hammock and sofa provided. the free kayaks were a fantastic bonus, despite getting caught in a downpour while using them. the on-site restaurant offered good value food and had wonderful views. the highlight for me was the stunning garden, filled with amazing flora and fauna. I lost count of the number of birds I saw, including a hummingbird.

It is conveniently located close to both San Pedro and San Juan, making it easy to explore the restaurants in these towns. The room was comfortable and the bathroom had good water pressure. The staff provided excellent service and were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast options included fresh produce from the organic garden on the property.

One downside is that the noise from the nearby town can be disturbing, especially at night.

I recently stayed at Eco Hotel Uxlabil in San Juan and had an amazing time. The location and view were absolutely breathtaking, giving me a tranquil escape from the tourist crowds. The staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring our rooms were ready upon arrival and assisting with transportation. We even had the opportunity to partake in a private Mayan ceremony organized by the hotel, which was a truly unforgettable experience. The hotel's unique and earthy decor added to the overall charm, and the comfortable beds and stunning lake view from the porch made for a perfect stay. I would definitely stay here again.

The complementary soap and shampoo were a nice touch and the view overlooking the lake was breathtaking. the hammocks on the balcony were my favorite part.

Our jacuzzi was broken, which was a big disappointment, and we could hear loud construction noise from the room upstairs. the street noise was also a bit much, with buses honking as early as 4:30 in the morning.

Beautiful lake and mountain views from the deck and the hammock was a bonus for relaxation. the gardens and grounds were lovely, creating a peaceful atmosphere. It was convenient to have a short walk into the nearby village for meals and exploring.

The traffic noise from the road above the hotel was quite loud, especially in the early morning hours. the room also lacked comfortable furniture, with only one chair available.

The hotel offered kayaks and boats for free, which was a great way to explore the area. the staff was very friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable.

There were some downsides to our experience. the rooms were not well equipped, with poor lighting and basic furnishings.
