The family room was mind-blowing for us, with plenty of floorspace and no cupboards, making it super convenient to store our open suitcases. The nearby petrol station, supermarket, and burger place, shutting at 9pm, were just jaw-dropping. We loved the fact that the room had a kettle and supplies for tea/coffee, adding a nice touch to our stay. The location was just perfect, within walking distance to the Fontana baths, which was absolutely incredible. The cleanliness and comfort of the property were top-notch, and being close to the lagoon/sauna area was a major plus. The room itself had amazing amenities like a fridge, and the host surprised us with a block of chocolate, which was fantastic. The mini supermarket just 200m away was a great convenience. The warm and comfortable room, along with the spacious bathroom, made our stay unforgettable. We also appreciated the larger bottles of bath and hand gel instead of the tiny ones. The host was extremely helpful with our very late arrival due to a delayed flight, and the countryside location added to the overall charm of our experience. So many pros!

We stayed at a guesthouse in a convenient location near the Laugarvatn Fontana. The room was clean and nicely decorated, with a spacious bathroom. Self check-in was hassle-free and the amenities provided, such as an electric kettle, small fridge, cups, and soap. The beds were comfortable, and the guesthouse served as a great base for exploring Pingvellir, Geysir, and Gulfoss. We also appreciated the proximity to the lake and the welcome chocolate.

Loved the "exciting" midnight struggle with the stuck door, no help in sight. And the nonexistent staff really added to the charm. Such a pleasant surprise.

Oh, how I longed for a TV in my room. How else was I supposed to keep up with the latest episodes of "Icelandic Soap Operas"?

Enjoyed the free Wi-Fi and parking and had a great time exploring the beautiful garden. The location was perfect for visiting Laugarvatn Fontana and The Cave People.

I absolutely adored not having any staff present during my stay. It was truly fascinating not knowing if I was at the right place, but who needs signs anyway?

Mind-blowingly clean and spacious rooms with super comfortable beds for a jaw-droppingly good night's sleep. Convenient self-check-in with code access. Uncomplicated and friendly staff swiftly resolved a small issue. Great value for interconnecting rooms that were creatively decorated. Perfect location to explore the Golden Circle and a grocery shop within walking distance. Can't beat the price for a room with a spacious bathroom.

Minor Noise Issue.

The place had two things that we enjoyed, a comfortable bed and a hot shower. it had a great location close to the main road which was convenient for us. Another advantage was that there were some restaurants nearby, which gave us options to grab something to eat without having to go too far.

There were some negatives as well. the walls were very thin, and we could hear all the noises from the other rooms and the hallway, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The room is cozy and comfortable, with a great bathroom and nice amenities like a fridge, tea/coffee, and a kettle. The host was incredibly helpful, even accommodating our very late arrival.
