The value for the money was excellent and the room was clean and cozy. The location was perfect, with easy access to attractions and dining options. The staff treated us with kindness and were always helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the center, with plenty of shopping, eating, and drinking establishments within walking distance. The hotel had pleasant common areas and was directly across from a parking garage, which was convenient for our rental car. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The hotel's location is ideal, as it's right across the street from a popular nightlife spot and close to bus stops for tours. Additionally, the breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of options. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are spacious and clean.

Some guests have noted that there can be noise from bars on the street and loud slamming doors throughout the night.

The staff at the hotel could be hit or miss. Some were friendly and helpful, but others seemed disinterested and not very attentive.

As party people, we loved the happy hour with discounted drinks from 4-6pm - perfect way to start the evening! The special "tasting" each evening was a fun way to try Icelandic drinks and appetizers. The Geiri Smart restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner. The staff made us feel welcome with treats upon arrival and even let us know when our late-night pizza arrived.

Felt so comfortable, nothing was too much trouble.

canopy exceeded our expectations during our relaxation for a couple of days. the spacious and comfortable room with a great view was perfect. we loved the special "tasting" of Icelandic drinks and appetizers, and the Geiri Smart restaurant offered the best meal we had in Iceland. we would definitely stay here again!

Stayed at Canopy in Reykjavik for 3 nights. Centrally located with bus stop at hotel for easy tours. Clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed. Hot shower with good water pressure. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet with lots of variety. Hotel offered free chocolate, happy hour, and tasting session. impressed with the service, cleanliness, and amenities.

We stayed at Canopy for 3 nights and had an amazing stay all the way through. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city with easy access to the main shopping street. The parking building across the street was very convenient for our rental car. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, with delicious pancakes and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. The hotel design and service were excellent, and our room was beautiful with comfortable beds. The bathroom was spacious and the shower and tub were very nice. We loved the availability of records and record players in the hotel, adding a unique touch to our stay.

canopy surpassed my expectations. after a restless stay in reykjavik a few months back, i was delighted by the spacious, comfortable room with a stunning view. the staff was courteous and the daily tasting was a fun way to try new local treats. geiri smart restaurant offered a fantastic dining experience with the best meal in iceland. i'd love to stay here again!

The breakfast was varied and we were able to enjoy different meals every day. The hotel is beautifully fitted out, with a stunning interior design and decor that we really enjoyed. Its location is perfect, right near everything we needed and wanted to do in downtown Reykjavik. It's also conveniently located next to one of the main bus stops for tour pickups and close to the major shopping areas in the city.
