We loved the hotel's location close to Black sand beach along the south coast. The view from the hill was breathtaking, overlooking the lake and Dryohaley cliffs. The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check-in very late and offering to check-out late without even asking. The breakfast provided was plentiful and delicious, setting us up for a day of exploration.

They even moved our room closer to the bar so we wouldn't have to walk across the parking lot in the rain and dark. This hotel is situated in an absolutely stunning location on top of a hill with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The rooms are equipped with all the necessary amenities, including good bathrooms and non-descript furniture. The breakfast was fantastic, with options of freshly made hot food and warm bread.

We had a wonderful time staying at this venue. The location on a hill top gave us a stunning view of the sea which we absolutely loved. It was great to see the Dyrholaey cliffs - the southern point of Iceland, from here too. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, especially housekeeping who made sure our room was always impeccably clean. We were delighted to be welcomed with a refreshing drink upon arrival. The room was well-appointed with amenities such as heating, tea and coffee facilities, and a comfortable sitting area. We enjoyed unwinding in front of the flat-screen TV and appreciated the am/fm alarm clock provided.
