The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were nice, and the views from our room were breathtaking. The hotel had a luxurious feel without breaking the bank, and the breakfast buffet was top-notch. They even had a northern lights wake up service!

The hotel is located on a small hill in the countryside south of Lake Myvatn, which provides superb uninterrupted views of the landscape for some Northern Lights. The basic amenities are available and the rooms are modern with a nice view outside. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome during your stay. The breakfast provided is super satisfying with various options such as fruits, salads, flakes, breads, self-made waffles.

The temperature of the room can get hot, but this hotel provides windows that can be opened to cool it down.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. its location on top of a small hill provided stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The rooms, especially those with beautiful views, were clean and spacious. I particularly enjoyed sitting by the big window, watching the endless nature and breathtaking sunsets. The attention to detail and basic amenities provided were impressive, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Additionally, the breakfast served was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from.

Hotel Laxa exceeded our expectations with its clever room layout and cozy window seat, perfect for aurora-spotting! The communal areas were fun and inviting, ideal for a group of friends to gather in the evening. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed a delicious burger for dinner. The staff were professional, polite, and incredibly helpful. This was by far the best accommodation during our road trip in Iceland. We will definitely be back and recommend it to our friends.
