We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by stunning nature and close to amazing hiking trails. We were able to explore the nearby geo-thermal area, which was like nothing we had ever seen before. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering us a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival. Our room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, including a mini-bar, sitting area, and a terrace with garden furniture. We also appreciated the shared kitchen, where we were able to cook our own meals. this place exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature.

We highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The resort is nestled down a picturesque valley, surrounded by breathtaking mountains. The location offers easy access to a stunning geo-thermical area. The rooms are clean and modern, with comfortable beds and nice views from the windows. The staff, especially Mr. Tomas, is friendly and helpful. The resort is in a quiet neighborhood, providing peace and tranquility. The dining room is clean and the breakfast is delicious.

There were no mirrors in the rooms for putting on contact lenses, which was a bit inconvenient.

We were pleasantly surprised by how cozy and comfortable our stay at Highland Base was. The cute, warm little triangle cottages provided a homely and inviting atmosphere. The location was perfect for exploring the Kerlingarfjoll hiking trails, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The kitchen building was a great bonus, allowing us to prepare our own meals if we didn't feel like eating at the restaurant. we had a quiet and nice stay!

The views of the nearby mountains were breathtaking. We also appreciated the quiet and peaceful surroundings. it was nice to have access to a hot tub after a long day of hiking.

The service was not up to par. We experienced a mix-up with our reservation and the staff was not accommodating in resolving it.
