The location was perfect, right in the middle of town on a beautiful river. From there, I was able to easily visit the Seltun geothermal area and explore the nearby church. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. The bathroom was clean and had a walk-in shower. The staff provided excellent service and were always helpful. The breakfast selection was great, with a mix of hot and cold dishes, including delicious pancakes. The views from the hotel were stunning, especially at night when I had the chance to spot the northern lights.

The spa was a fantastic deal and a perfect way to relax after a long day of driving. The breakfast and dinner served in the hotel with a spectacular river view were EXCELLENT with a wide range of choices. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had an amazing bathroom with a great shower. The location was convenient, with free parking and just a one-minute walk to the center. We highly recommend this place as the best room in our ten days in Iceland!

Lovely location near the scenic Olfusa River, our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The spa was a much-needed relaxation after climbing Skogafoss waterfall.
