Located in a nice, quiet area, Johnson's Homestay offers easy access to the beach for stunning sunsets. Guests can also find some excellent restaurants within walking distance. The guesthouse is situated in a remote area of the backwaters, providing a peaceful and serene environment. The rooms are super clean and offer facilities like hot showers and working WiFi. The hosts are friendly and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast is excellent, and guests can also opt for a budget-friendly canoe cruise or a delightful houseboat experience.

Some rooms may have dusty corners with spider nets.

The complimentary lemon juice was amazing, and the owners gave good advice on local trips. The peaceful location was perfect for our relaxation, and we enjoyed the pure-veg food.

We were not happy about having to wait for our room when we arrived before check-in time. , the communication was not great as we had booked an AC room but couldn't adjust it online and had to settle for a non-AC one.

My stay at this hotel was luxurious and fulfilled all my exclusive amenities needs. The room was well-equipped with plush linens and high-end toiletries. The private facilities were exclusive and impeccable. The restaurant served in-room breakfast with special diet menus and packed lunches. The garden area was well-maintained and perfect for sun loungers. The hotel also offered BBQ facilities and a beach access. Moreover, the location advantages were remarkable.

While my stay at this hotel was excellent, the internet was only available in the lounge area which was a minor issue.

Found this guesthouse online through their informative insta. Owner answered all queries and helped arrange a food delivery and taxi. Quiet rooms with mosquito nets. Recommended for a peaceful stay.

I had a brilliant stay at Johnson's Homestay - the room size was big and the location was perfect. The wifi was also reliable, which was a bonus. Johnson himself was such a friendly host and made us feel at home. The highlight was definitely his three friendly dogs who brought so much joy to our stay. The room had a dressing room and a spare room with a dining table, which was unexpected but appreciated. I highly recommend this homestay for a great experience in Alappuzha.
