A super and warm welcome at this place. It features a serene plantation house on the river and a friendly (alcohol-free) restaurant with excellent vegan options. Our villa with a private pool was an unexpected upgrade and provided the most comfortable stay. The outdoor pool also added a great touch. Transfers to the airport were efficient at 4:30 am.

Our stay at the villa with a private pool was absolutely stunning! We enjoyed the serene atmosphere and the incredible vegan options at their restaurant, which is a rare find. The on-site outdoor swimming pool added the perfect touch for relaxation after our flavorful meals.

The menu is overly extensive yet disappointingly limiting!!! A simple thali could solve many issues!!! Waiting on service is annoying, especially for basic items. The breakfast experience needs to be streamlined for quicker service!!!

The location is fantastic, right on the river, with a serene garden setting and friendly staff. The room was spacious and comfortable, making for a cozy stay.

While the food was decent, the restaurant service was occasionally too pushy, which detracted from the dining experience. The noise from nearby areas could be mildly disruptive at times.

Great gardens with beautiful Caana flowers. The pool is magnificent, and the food is delightful and home-made. The rooms are functional, clean, and comfortable. Airport proximity is a plus with no disturbance. Excellent stop-over and valuable experience.

the hotel’s experience was absolutely underwhelming. Why was I subjected to waiting for my room while they pretended to check it? As if I’m not trustworthy? I also expected a room upgrade considering my special requests went ignored. unfriendly staff only worsened the situation—not a single complimentary gesture. I woudl ve given a good review, but just couldn’t.

We had such a cozy stay! The villa with the private pool was like our own paradise. Breakfast was a feast, especially the vegan options—best we've had in Kerala! The atmosphere by the river was super chill, but the wifi could be better in certain spots. Still, everything else was on point!

the gardens are beautifully kept with tropical trees along the riverbank. restaurant service was sometimes a bit too attentive for my liking. overall, the stay was lovely and refreshing, with friendly staff and good wi-fi access.

The King Room with Garden View was pretty comfy and clean. It had a nice aesthetic vibe with the gardens right outside. Lighting was a bit harsh though—some softer lamps would’ve been nice for the ambiance. The bed was cozy, and I slept well! Plus, it was super convenient being so close to the airport without noise bothering me. Definitely a great stop-over.

we loved staying at once upon the river, aluva, near cochin international airport. the hotel is right on the river and is surrounded by beautifully kept gardens. our king room with garden view was large and very comfortable. They had good wifi and tea facilities. the staff were super friendly, and the transfers to the airport were super convenient. also, the ayurvedic treatments were a relaxing highlight!
