The Tangkoko Sanctuary Villa in Bitung was a hidden gem nestled in the jungles of Sulawesi. The breathtaking views from the hotel and the surrounding sounds of nature made our stay truly unique. The clean and lovely rooms, along with the delicious, freshly made food, added to the overall experience. The knowledgeable guide, Sakar, made our Tangkoko tour unforgettable. The lovely gardens and floor-to-ceiling windows added to the charm of the hotel.

Under-construction, attractive price, comfortable room, superb views, close to National Park.

The secluded location and the stunning views from the room were the best aspects of our stay. The homemade food was also really great, with every dish being delicious and unique. We also appreciated the helpfulness of the staff in arranging tours.

Our experience was totally ruined by the outdated amenities in the rooms, including bathrooms that were in desperate need of renovation. we were taken aback by the lack of nearby ATMs and the communication around this issue could have been better.

We stayed at a beautiful hidden gem close to the National Park entrance. The staff, Anna, Elyn, and Sakar, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. Anna took care of everything we needed, Elyn cooked delicious food upon request, and Sakar was an excellent guide in Tangkoko NP, making sure we had the best chance of spotting monkeys and other wildlife. The bungalow with a garden view was cozy, and we loved the soothing sound in the evening. The outside shower was a highlight, and the beds were really comfortable. The view from the restaurant was absolutely amazing.

While there are a few minor drawbacks, such as the unfinished state of some areas of the property and the overpricing of food and services, these did not greatly impact our overall experience. Additionally, there were some issues with language when the owner was not present, and the WiFi did not work consistently.
