We stayed here for four nights and had a very nice room with a great view of St. Mark's Basilica and St. Mark's Square. Good for people watching. The bed was very comfortable with soft and fluffy bedding. The fruit basket upon arrival was a nice touch. Breakfast had the best hot chocolate and a full selection of continental options. Attentive and polite service. Steps from the hotel entrance, but porter assistance was provided. Great water pressure for the shower.

One drawback was the noise level in the hotel. There were frequent ringing of bells from the over 120 churches in Venice, which could be disturbing to sleep.

During my recent visit to a hotel in Venice, I had the pleasure of staying at a very plush hotel with a central location that was right on St. Mark's Square.
