Lovely grand hotel in the center, easy access to restaurants and funicular. Continental breakfast with bacon and scrambled eggs. Enjoyed the swimming pool. Friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. Excellent quality and value evening meal. Convenient for day trips to Florence and other towns. Great place to experience Italian food and culture.

We had a great stay at Grand Hotel Plaza & Locanda Maggiore. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town and close to the train station. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel for its excellent location and great service.

I absolutely loved the old world charm of this hotel, from the grand entrance to the marble staircase. The high ceilings in the room with crown molding and chandelier added a touch of elegance. The cozy bar downstairs with pink velvet sofas was a great place to relax. The deep soaking bathtub in the room was a welcome retreat during the cold weather storm. The staff made excellent restaurant recommendations and the hotel restaurant looked promising, although we didn't have a chance to try it. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated that the hotel is non-smoking. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices, including eggs, which is often a rarity in European hotels.

The hotel's cleanliness was exceptional, and the morning breakfast was amazing. the staff was incredibly helpful and sweet, going above and beyond to assist with any requests or issues. the location was perfect, with easy access to nearby parking and within walking distance to everything you need, including the train station. This made it a great base for exploring the surrounding area during my business trip.

The air conditioning was not functioning during my stay, and the room became quite hot, making it difficult to sleep without opening the window. However, being in a central location, there was noise from the bars that prevented sleep until late at night.

We loved the central location of this charming hotel. Despite train track works, we easily accessed buses and the funicular. The helpful staff upgraded us to spacious rooms and provided excellent service throughout our stay.
