We had a wonderful stay at Mate in Florence. The staff, particularly Erida, Andre Chidambaram, and Aman, were outstanding and fixed a problem with our room door in no time. The hotel's location allowed us to easily explore the city's historic center and major tourist sights. The decor was stylish, the hotel was super clean, and the staff were accommodating and helpful. Special mentions to Annalisa and Aman for their exceptional service. Highly recommended for families.

I had the pleasure of staying at this place and it was an absolute delight! This venue is conveniently located near the train and coach stations which made my travels very easy. It is also situated in a great spot which allowed me to easily explore all the major tourist attractions that are just a short walk away. The staff here are beyond amazing with their warm and welcoming service, they speak very good English too. The room amenities including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, mini-bar. Additionally, the restaurant and bar/lounge area are perfect for a relaxing evening in.

My experience here was fantastic and I will definitely return. The breakfast served between 7:30-12 pm was a great way to start my day and the free toiletries provided in the room were a lovely touch.

Our room at Mate was small, but it was clean and comfortable, perfect for the price we paid. The location was excellent, close to the train station and only a short 10-minute walk to the city center. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. The lobby had a unique and authentic decoration that gave it a charming Wes Anderson movie vibe. The receptionists were incredibly friendly and helpful. Despite our room facing the main street on the 1st floor, we didn't experience much noise. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great value and pleasant experience.

The location is ideal, within a short walk of major sights. The room is comfortable and the bathroom is clean. The staff, especially Luca at reception, is friendly and always smiling. The hotel has a trendy and colorful interior, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast offers a wide selection, and the rooms have great views of the city.

The lobby space and common areas could be better utilized.

The noise level from the street outside could be heard from the room, causing some disturbance during the night.

The hotel was in a quiet neighborhood but still close to the center of Florence, making it a convenient location for exploration. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a big and comfortable bed. The breakfast selection was great and open until 12, which was convenient for us as backpackers. The staff, particularly Andre, were helpful and friendly. They even prepared breakfast packs for us when we had to catch an early flight, which was a nice touch.

Felt very lucky to have found this gem of a hotel. The staff were patient, always smiling, and eager to help.

The breakfast offered a great selection of hot and cold dishes, and the freshly made coffee was a perfect start to the day.
